I wanted to train with a top provider and eventually chose to train with Body Control Pilates.  They are the leading Pilates training organisation and their method is based on a contemporary approach to Pilates. 

 

On qualifying in Matwork level 3 I have continued adding to my skillset and trained in Intermediate Mat, Pre & Post Natal Pilates, Pilates for Golfers and HIP (High Intensity Power Pilates).  I continue to add to my knowledge of Pilates & Movement as there are clients have specific requirements and I feel it is important to tailor the lessons to enhance their experience.

I enjoy teaching Pilates as I know it's many benefits of and I want to share the knowledge so that everyone can use the method as part of their mindful movement plan to maintain wellness into their Golden Years.  I have never taken from any other form of exercise the feeling of true wellness in mind and body that I do when I have taken a Pilates class and this is what I would like clients to experience. 

 

The movement and breathing techniques really do improve your mobility, stamina and mental wellness. Within a few weeks you will feel and see a difference in your body.  It is my hope that even from the first day, you feel relaxed and invigorated and look forward to the next session.

I currently teach at Neasham, Hurworth & Northallerton as well as working with clients in private sessions.
