Payment for the weekly group Pilates classes are made by monthly direct debit payment through GoCardless at the beginning of the month. I typically teach 38/39 lessons per year for each class, based around school terms (not including any summer workshops).
I appreciate there are times when you may miss a class - such as through illness, childcare and holidays. My payment plan is priced at the equivalent of approximately 32 drop in lessons per year to allow you to miss some classes without losing out. If at any point I need to cancel a class this will count towards the free classes offered and there will be no refund.
Please do not ask for a discount if you go on holiday during term time. The number of lessons delivered each month varies but the price is spread evenly over 12 months. The year runs from September to July and your first payment is a month in advance starting at the beginning of August.
The monthly payment is £27. By joining this plan you have a guaranteed space for as long as you want it.
If you decide to leave part way through a term you will be liable for the remainder of the term. If you have already overpaid I will arrange for a refund. You are also welcome to make up for missed classes and I would recommend you take the catch up class a week either side of the missed class so that you haven't missed out on a new exercise.
The monthly price includes a discount on a standard class price and gives you greater freedom and flexibility if you are going on holiday or are a way for a period of time.
Payment for all sessions is taken by GoCardless or BACS.
How do I join a class?
If you would like to join a class, you can either get in touch with me and I will send you a joining form for you to complete and return to me. I will then check it over and will contact you to discuss any medical conditions or mobility requirements you may have. This is so that I can adapt the lesson plans to suit your needs. I will then send you a payment link for GoCardless. This is a secure payment method which you are in control of at all times.
What do I need to bring to class?
Due to restrictions placed on us through COVID -19, you will need to bring your own mat & head cushion if you require it.
What should I wear?
You don't need to buy any fancy new clothing to come to class. Wear something comfortable not too restrictive. For example a pair of leggings or tracksuit bottoms and a close fitting top is fine. Due to some of the exercises and positions you will be in (side lying for example) I recommend that if you are wearing shorts to class, to wear close fitting underwear underneath for your own comfort ensuring no indiscretions. I also recommend socks so that your feet move more easily along the floor.
How many people are in your classes?
I take a maximum of 12 people per class. This ensures that you are afforded individual attention and correction. Smaller groups are safer as I can see you all and can provide a high quality class taking into account your needs.
What are your terms and conditions?
Group classes - These are non-refundable once booked. If you choose to end your payment plan please give me 30 days notice in order for me to fill you place.
Private classes - These are non- refundable once booked. Classes cancelled within 12 hours of the session will be charged the full rate. Classes cancelled outside of this 24 hour window may be rebooked for another date.
